Application Specialist to provide support to specific assigned clients related to capabilities, implementation, integration, and use of the company's licensed software; ensure that each client's configuration settings for the licensed software are consistent with the client's requirements; interact with project, technical, and development managers throughout the company to establish and maintain knowledge of our core product(s) and all enhancements and fixes; support the development of methodologies, policies, processes, and procedures for implementation, integration, and use of our products; provide input on testing and development objectives to ensure each client's requirements are met; and track defects, issues, or other requests reported by each client to maintain detailed knowledge of the outstanding requests and reported issues related to capabilities of our products.

Qualified applicants must have a bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, engineering, or a related field; a minimum of five years of experience in utility metrology, Java development, or Oracle PL/SQL development; and expert knowledge of SDLC, including experience with all of the following: defect/issue tracking software, UNIX, Erwin or similar tools, systems and/or business analysis, development, and testing of software. Enterprise software integration and project management experience is beneficial. Must have expert knowledge in analyzing and understanding specifications and requirements and designing solutions to achieve them; familiarity with database administration, data processing, and performance related concepts relative to complex software systems; be a team player with strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills; have proven client-facing oral and written communication and relationship management skills; and be able to travel 50% of the time.
