Meter Data Repository: Where your meter data lives.

Think of it as the information mother ship. All the data -- every read, every kilowatt hour of electricity consumed, every gallon of water dispensed or every cubic foot of gas delivered -- is measured by the AMI and collected in one master database, the Meter Data Repository (MDR).

From here, data can be accessed, distributed, synchronized, validated, estimated and edited. Depending on need (billing, load research, system planning, outage notification, etc.), this data can be accessed on demand by employees or automatically by the various modules that make up the Ecologic Meter Data Management System (MDMS).
